Speed Racer - 4 Tubs
Save your money, watch the cartoon on TV. The studios blew $100 million on this loser. Hollywood has set the graphics and special effects bar way too high for people to be satisfied with this animae film. Wait for the DVD. Save your $9 bucks and the $20 for candy and popcorn. Enough said.

The Wachowski bros certainly put a lot of effort into making Speed Racer... the movie overall looked and felt like a cross between anime, a kaleidoscope, that Flintstones movie, a video game and the Dukes of Hazard
That explains why the theater was so messy! Fans had vertigo trying to keep up with it all. It's not easy bringing a handful of popcorn to a mouth half the size of your fist; and inhaling soda through the nose would certainly result in sticky floors.
Actually, I saw little in this movie that could be compared to what these guys did with the Matrix. Throw in some Willie Wonka and I guess they thought they had something that everyone could identify with.
